RR vs DC Result - Rajasthan won by 3 wickets in a thriller

Rajasthan Royals won again against the odds due to some fine captaincy and tactics by Shane Warne as they beat Deccan Chargers in an exciting match by 3 wickets with 2 balls remaining on Saturday, 2nd May, 2009 at Port Elizabeth. DC made 141/5 in 20 overs and RR made 142/7 in 19.4 overs.

Deccan Chargers started well by Gilchrist added 27 runs in 3 overs but tight bowling by Yusuf Pathan who had given only 19/1 and Harwood 25/2 in 4 overs restricted them to 141/5 in 20 overs.

Rajasthan Royals got one of the worst startt of IPL as the reduced 3/3 in 2 overs but Lee Carseledine scored 39 off 32 balls put back them in the match and AS raut's 23 ball 36 runs cruised them to victory.
