IPL 20th Match - Delhi on No. 1 spot beat Chennai by 8 wickets



Chennai Super Kings tasted the first defeat of the Indian Premier League by the hands of Delhi Daredevils in the 20th match of IPL, at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai, on 2nd May, 2008. Delhi Daredevils won by 8 wickets with 6 balls remaining.

Chennai Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first, and scored 169/6 in 20 overs thanks to debutant S Vidyut's 54 in 37 balls.

Delhi Daredevils chased easily by a 115-run opening stand in just 11.2 overs between Sehwag and Gambhir. Sehwag scored 71 in 41 balls with 7 fours and 4 sixes and 50 in 37 balls respectively.
