Rajasthan Royals in IPL Semi-finals beat Bangalore by 65 runs
Rajasthan Royals are are virtually assured a place in the IPL semi-finals with their eighth win in ten games as they beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 65 runs in 39th game of Indian Premier League, at Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi, on Saturday, 17th May, 2008.
Bangalore Royal Challengers won the toss and elected to field first, in reply Rajasthan Royals scored 197/1 in 20 overs thanks to fine batting by Smith, Asnodkar and Watson contributed 75, 50 and 46 respectively.
Bangalore Royal Challengers slumped to 132/9 in reply due to fine bowling by Sohail Tanveer, took 3 wickets for just 10 runs. Only Dravid resisted with unbeaten 75 in 36 balls.
