IPL Month Long Transfer Window is Open for 2009 Season

Much awaited transfer window of Indian Premier League - IPL for 2009 season opened on Tuesday, 23rd December, 2008 for the period of one month. In this transfer window Frencisie's can buy and sell players.

Meanwhile 2008 IPL winner Rajasthan Royal's players were in high demnad specially, Shane Watson, Yusuf Pathan, Swapnil Asnodkar, Mohammad Kaif, Ravindra Jadeja, Dinesh Salunke, Sohail Tanveer and Munaf Patel. But question is that Rajasthan Royal will sell its start players.

On the other hand Vijay Mallya put his entire Bangalore Royal Challenger team on sale except Rahul Dravis which is an "Icon Player" nad can't put on sale. So Indian Fast bowler Zaheer han, South African Sensation Dale Steyn and T20 Specialist Pakistani Misbah-ul-Haq is now available for other teams.

But all frenchisies will wait for next year auction in February, 2009. Players like Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff, Owais Shah, Mitchell Johnson, Shaun Tait, Michael Clarke, Thilan Thushara, Steve Harmison, Chris Broad and Paul Collingwood will be available.
