KXIP vs BRC Result - Bangalore won by 8 runs - Yuraj's hat-trick in vain
In the 24th game of 2009 IPL, Bangalore Royal Challengers beat Kings XI Punjab by 8 runs in a thrilling match on Friday, 1st May, 2009 at Durban. BRC made 145/9 and restricted KXIP to 137/7 in 20 overs.

For Kings XI Punjab Yuraj Singh opened the inning and made a brilliant 50 and put 70 runs for 1st wicket with Goel, but wickets at regular intervals cost them match. But 2 tight overs in the end by Kumble and Praveen Kumar won the game.
