MI vs RR Result - Munaf helps Rajasthan a thrilling 2 runs win over Mumbai
Rajasthan Royals beat Mumbai Indians by 2 runs in a thrilling 45th match of IPL2 on Thursday, 14th May, 2009 at Durban. RR scored 145/7 in 20 overs and MI bowled out on 143 runs in 19.5 overs.
Rajasthan Royals won the toss and elected to bat 1st, started well thanks to Rob Quiney, who playing his 1st match of 2009 IPL scored 40 balls 51 runs and Ravindar Jadeja made 32 balls 42 runs to take a respectable score of 145/7 in 20 overs.
Mumbai Indians got a bad start as they reduced to 29/3 in 7 overs but Tendulkar and Jayasuriya took the score to 53/3 in strategy break. Tendulkar made 30 balls 40 runs and took the score to 103/5 in 15 over. Then Abhishek Nayar played a quick fire inning of 35 runs off just 18 balls and only 4 runs needed in last over but Munaf Patel bowled superbly and given only 2 runs with 1 wicket and 2 run outs.

I saw this game, last over was too dramtic. They shouldnt have tried to run on each ball of that over...bad luck MIs
