Mumbai Indian's run in the IPL2 has almost over as they lost to 2nd placed Chennai Super Kings by 7 wickets with 5 balls remaining in the 47th match on Saturday, 16th May, 2009 at Port Elizabeth. MI made 147/5 in 20 overs and CSK scored 151/3 in 19.1 overs.Mumbai Indians after winning the toss made 147 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs thanks to in-form JP Duminy made 62 runs off 54 balls and 33 unbeaten runs from Abhishek Nayar. Jayasuriya also contributed with 30 runs.
Mathew Hayden's dream run continues in IPL2 as he scored unbeaten 60 runs off 57 balls, even though he started slowly as he score his 1st boundary after 34 balls he faced but stayed till the end to secure a crucial inning for Chennai Super Kings.
