2010 IPL Players Auction - 66 Players short listed for Auction for IPL3 on 19th January

66 players has been shortlisted for 2010 IPL3 for the auction on Tuesday, 19th January, 2010 . the list of players include from all 9 test playing countries with 11 players from Australia, Pakistan and South Africa each, 9 players from Sri Lanka, 8 players from England and West Indies, 4 players from New Zealand and 1 players each from Bangladesh, Canada, Zimbabwe and Holland.

Pakistan's Shahid Afridi, Umar Akmal, Mohammad Aamer and ICL player Abdul Razzak, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan and New Zealand fast bowler Shane Bond will be some key players for IPL3 Auction.

In 3rd IPL each franchise has a total spend of US$ 750,000 but there is some controversy as if 2 teams are bidding for a player at $750,000. Both would then be asked to submit a fresh bid. In case one of the two submits a new bid of $800,000, the player still receives $750,000 and the additional $50,000 goes to the IPL.
