IPL3 Opening Ceremony, Watch 2010 IPL Opening Ceremony Live - IPLT20 Opening Function on 12th March

45 days, 60 days, 8 teams and players around the cricket world - 3rd edition of Indian Premier League, IPL3 Twenty20 in the cricket crazy nation India, is going to begin from tomorrow Friday, 12th March, 2010 at DY Patil Stadium between defending champion Deccan Chargers and last year's bottom team Kolkata Knjght Riders.

The opening Ceremony of 2010 IPL will begin with the performances of Akon, Ali Campbell, Bjorn Again, Bollywood star Deepika Padukone and pop star Lionel Ritchie with a wide variety of backup dancers.

The captains of the all the 8 teams will also sign a globe made of eco-friendly material to show their solidarity with the cause of saving the environment.

The all eight teams defending champion Deccan Chargers, runner-up Bangalore Royal Challengers, 3rd placed Delhi Daredevils, Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, Kings XI Punjab and last team in the points table Kolkata Knight Riders will be honored in the opening ceremony and the games will officially begin.
