Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders, after major changes has been rejuvenated in the IPL3 as they registered their back to back win against last year runner up Royal Challengers Bangalore after win against champions Deccan in the opening game on Sunday, 14th March, 2010 in front of the sell out home ground.

Royal Challengers Bangalore managed only 135 runs due to fine bowling by Karthik and Mathews took 2 and 4 wickets respectively and only Kallis made unbeaten 65 runs of 52 balls. In reply openers Tiwari and Hidge made 50 runs each with 101 runs partnership in 11.4 overs and set an easy 7 wickets win for Kolkata Knight Riders.
