Kolkata Knight Riders for the semi-finals spot with 8 wickets win with 24 balls remaining over Rajasthan Royals, who is knocked out from IPL3 on Saturday, 17th April, 2010 at Eden Gardens. RR made 132/9 in 20 overs and KKR made 133/2 in 16.1 overs.
Rajasthan Royals in a must win game crumbled under pressure of good bowling by Bond, Dinda and Unadkat with 1,2 and 3 wickets respectively as only Watson made 44 runs and managed only 132 runs. In reply Kolkata reduced to 2-22 but Ganguly and Pujara put unbeaten 111 runs with unbeaten 75 and 45 runs respectively and make the hopes alive for the last match.
