In the Grand Finale of 2010 IPLT20, Chennai Super Kings beat title favorite Mumbai Indians by 22 runs in front of the sell out crowd on Sunday, 25th April, 2010 at DY Patil, New Mumbai. CSK made 168/5 in 20 overs and MI made 146/9 in 20 overs.
Chennai Super Kings won the toss and got a slow start due to tight bowling by Mumbai and they were 67/3 in 12th over and then Rain who got two life due to poor fielding by Mumbai hit unbeaten 57 rusn off 35 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes managed highest IPL final score of 168/5.
Mumbai Indians also got a slow start even though Tendulkar hit 48 runsthey lost 2 many wickets and balls left for Pollard who tried hard with 10 balls 27 runs in the end. Shadab Jakati wickets of Tendulkar and Tiwary was the turning point of the match.
