In the rematch of last year finalist, defending champions Deccan Chargers easily beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets with 4 balls remaining in a high scoring match on Thursday, 8th April, 2010 at Bengalure. RCB made 184/6 in 20 overs and DC made in 20 overs.

Royal Challengers Bangalore again made a good score thanks to Orange Cap holder Jacques Kallis who made another half century with 68 off 44 balls and Kohli hit 58 runs off 35 balls to set a good total of 184/6.
