Last year finalist Mumbai Indians started their 2011 IPL 4, campaign well with a comfortable 8 wickets win over Delhi Daredevils with 19 balls remaining in the first game of Sunday, 10th April, 2011 at Delhi. DD all out on 95 runs in 17.4 overs and MI made 99/2 in 16.5 overs.
Delhi Daredevils started poorly and lost 2 wickets in the 2nd over bowled by Malinga, who was on fire and took 5 wickets and never allowed Delhi to take charge and b0wled out on 95 runs as only Naman Ojha fight with 29 runs. Mumbai Indians also lost 1st wicket early but Sachin Tendulkar hit unbeaten 46 runs to secure a comfortable win and moves to top of the points table.
