Pune started their campaign well and started with a convincing win over Punjab as bowlers Wagh and Thomas bowled brilliantly while their all the batsmen Manhas, Ryder, Uthappaa and captain Yuvraj Singh is in great touch and they are looking favorite at their home ground.

Kochi Tuskers Kerala lost their opening match and at one stage they were on top but undone by de Villiers and now they have a good chance to come back. McCullum contributed well but didn't get any support from others and Mahela Jayawardhane should play major role in the game to lift the team.
