MI v CSK 2013 IPL6 Final Result - Mumbai are New Kings of IPL, beat Chennai by 23 runs
Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat first without Tendulkarand lost 2 wickets in 2 overs as both openers out cheaply and soon captain Rohit Sharma back in pavillion and struggling at 16/3 then Karthik and Rayudu put some fight and took the score to 52 when Karthik also out. Pollard was their last hope and he has controlled the situation 48 runs partnership with Rayudu who hit 37 runs and then played some aggressive shots in the end including 2 sixes of last 2 ball and took the score to a fighting total of 148 runs with 55 balls 60 runs.
In reply Chennai Super Kings got worst start of the season as Maling took the heroes of last game Hussey and Raina in the first over and in the next over Johnson took Badrinath at the score of 3/3. Bravo and Vijay put some fight and took the total to 35 but then they again lost 3 wickets an struggling at 39/6 in 8 overs. Dhoni came at 6 and tried to put some fight with gusty 63 not out runs in 45 balls but its not enough as the were loosing regular wickets at other end and they lost the game by 23 runs crumbled under off pitch activities.

Chennai Kings v Mumbai Indians 2013 IPL Final Live Score - MI v CSK IPL6 Grand Finale Teams, Commentary
Chennai Super Kings tops the points table and one of the consistant performer of the tournament and lost only 5 games out of 17 game and already beat Mumbai in the Qualifier 1 with a big margin and appearing their 5th final out of 6. Their top order Michael Hussey, Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina are in great form while they have depth in batting with Dhoni, Bravo, Jadeja, Albie Morkel and Ashwin. They also have a very good bowling attack with Mohit Sharma one of the leading wicket taker, R Ashwin, Bravo and Morris.
Mumbai Indians lost their last game and 1 final also to Chennai and have a good chance to take revenge and lift the trophy for the first time. Sachin Tendulkar is still doubtful and the team will be same as Tare is doing well at the top order with Dwayne Smith who is in great form. Rohit Sharma is out of form from last few games and need to play a big inning with Karthik. Pollard also has to play an important role both with the bat and bowl. They have very good bowling attack with Mitchell Johnson, Malinga and Harbhajan Singh who took 3 wickets in the last game.
