KKR vs DD Result - Delhi won by 7 wick to take the top spot in IPL2 Points Table
In an one side 39th match of 2009 Indian Premier League, title favorite Delhi Daredevils beat out of the tournament Kolkata Knight Riders by 7 wickets with 17 balls remaining in the 2nd game of Sunday, 10th May, 2009 at Johannesburg. KKR scored 123/8 in 20 overs and DD made 125/3 in 17.1 overs.
Kolkata Knight Riders started with a six by McCullum was given out by a wrong decision and slumped to 56/6 in 11 overs. Ajit Agarkar played some good shot in the end with 29 ball 39 runs and Ganguly contributed with 44 runs to take the total to 123 runs.
In reply Delhi Daredevils started with 53 runs for 1st wicket but slumped to 69/3 due to double strike by Ishanth Sharma, but AB de Villiers rescued then again with unbeaten 4o runs to seal the victory with 17 balls remaining,
