Kolkata Knight Riders are strong on paper but they will be without Brandon McCullum whois unfit and Shakib will join the team next month after finishing Zimbabwe tour. Gautam Gambhir, Kallis and Pathan are out of form but this is a good opportunity to back in form. Bisla was star in the final and will get more chance this time. Sunil Narine was most economical bowler last time and they will hope more from him while Brett Lee will lead the bowling attack.
Delhi Daredevils topped the points table last time and they will be without some key players like Kevin Pietersen and Jesse Ryder who was hit in a bar just before the IPL. Jayawardhane will lead the team in the absence of Sehawag who may miss the opening game. Morne Morkel was leading wicket taker last time and will get support from Irfan Pathan.
