Second semi-final of 2009 Indian Premier League - IPL2 will be played between last year runner-up Chennai Super Kings and rejuvenated Royal Challengers Bangalore on Saturday, 23rd May, 2009 at Johannesburg to play a Grand Finale with Deccan Chargers on Sunday, 24th May.

Chennai Super Kings finished 2nd in IPL2 points table and was runner-up in 2008 IPL with a very balanced team. opener Mathew Hayden is the highest run scorer of the tournament with 546 runs in 11 matches and Raina is also in good form with bat and ball along with Dhoni and Muralitharan. Michael Hussey has not been included in the palying 11.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is the surprise semi-finalist of 2009 IPL but now they are looking strong as the day passess and can upset the last year finalist. Manish Pandey hit a ton in the last match while Kallis and Ross Taylor in good touch. Kumble is leading from the fron with tight bowling.
